burn piano island burn is dope, listened to it last night for the first time in years. i have a live DVD of theirs and it is absolutely horrible. i stopped listening to them after trying to watch it but since it's been a few years now, i can get back into them.

they split up last year...johnny whitney did some solo albums (in fact they all did, whilst in blood brothers)

Burn is Perfect. There was a point when I thought The Brothers Blood were gods.

I went to see AFI (before they got gross too) and the blood brothers opened up. I immediately stopped caring about all other bands and only listened to Burn for a year. I just couldn't figure how they actually arranged their songs and actually reproduced them live. It was so chaotic, sassy, and amazing.

Head Wound City (members of blood, the yeah yeah yeahs, and others) is pretty good if you like FAST, noisy, punishment.
