Post by jinx in dub » Sat Jul 12, 2008 8:42 am

i love my dubstep but i find alot of it quite minimal.

im a lover of reggae & dub in all forms and styles but im tryin to find tracks which have vocals in, i.e

dj c & zulu - body move
the bug - poison dart

can anyone point me in the right direction?

War 001-004.
A couple others (listed below) that have some nice vocal sections, I definitely wouldn't call them "vocal" tunes but they could work nice with what you're doing.

Ganja Man- The Others
Dancing Shoes- Babylon System
Way Of The Dub Remix- Caspa
Light Up Your Spliff- The Others

SJR 169-12 Skream - Sub Island / Pass The Red Stripe (Soul Jazz Records)

quite possibly the two greatest dub reggae influenced dubstep tracks, IMHO.

no vocals in them tho, but get a mic and sing yer own :P
