Sorry, no love for miss Allien this year. I was really dissapointed with this album. I love Berlinette and Orchestra of Bubbles, but this one feels really bland for me. Like nothing happens there.

I feel like its more an AGF work than an Ellen Allien one. Btw, its textures are excellent!

Yeah, was really disappointed by this. Loved 'Orchestra Of Bubbles' and her previous solo discs but this one just left me cold. Maybe I'm just bored with minimal in general but, like dopaminecloud said, Sool was just... nothing. Uneventful and utterly forgettable. Her mixes however continue to be excellent.

Sool would have been great if it came out in 1999... It was pretty blah all the way through...
