MattyG wrote:Yo, just wanted to put my two cents in and say what's up. the "1 and in comes the 2 to the 3" tune is called Cold Break Ill...it's on the album. Layin' in Bed and Summer Solstice are not the same tune, check my myspace. As far as 50,000 and West Coast Rocks not being on there...yeah, they could've been, but this project was really aimed at making a cd people can listen to, and they didn't fit the flow with the other tunes. the cd is made specifically for fans of dubstep who are not djs. it's not intended to be something you can pop in a cdj and play out. it's something you should be bumping in the car or your walkman. i'm excited to see how it's received, and appreciate everyone who has supported me over the last few years. much love.
check
www.argonrecords.com for upcoming info and
www.myspace.com/mattygbeatz for some sound clips...i'll update it soon with more tunes from the album. peace.
Fair enough, if its not in keeping with the rest of the album then it makes sense.

Massive dub business. I have a feelin Matty G is gonna make us ALL a little more laid back. From the tunes here I know, this ones gonna rep the west coast sound, and the ill hip-hop background of Mr. G. Congrats!!

'Last B Boy' gives me the shivers. BIGUP MATTY!
From the guitar intro to the mexican sample, the low low drop, the b-boy stance sample, the beatbox sample and the scratch samples.. this is the best hip hop influenced dubstep tune so far for sure!

word. the album version is different than the one on myspace....and it's a brazilian portuguese sample...not spanish. it's all good though!
