I've not compared them. But I have compared the equivalent 8" models - VTX8 vs BM12A. I prefered the Dynaudio. I found all the KRK's to be very harsh sounding, especialy in the upper mids. and to me they didn't seem as honest as the dyn which just sound dead perfect from top to bottom to me.
But, I was certain for so long that I would get KRK's, because of online reviews and forum chat. Had not even considered Dyn much untill I listened. At the end of the day you really really need to go and listen to the speakers. No hard and fast tules about what music should sound like, and everyone has different ears, different tastes, and is used to different things depening on their monitoring/listening history etc.

Just go spend some time listening to them and ignore what twats on the forum like me are telling you :)

i have the KRK Rockit and i think for value for money they are awesome. i have heard the VTX series isnt as good for monitors...(this is from a shop is aus) but this is just what i have heard and i only can recomend the KRK as thats wht i have but i wouldnt buy the VTX series. So if they are your options i would go for the Dynaudio.
