Ras def. killed it; great to see that a night of dubstep can involve way more than 135-145bpm business.

Kode's set was really fantastic.

tons of heads in the place!!!

absolutely sick and twisted... kode 9 was playing way more stuff outta left field than the gig at the summer concert series. mad twisted ish. joe's set was nasty gutter techno, amazing mixing/selecting from both. i dipped out after the first couple tunes from Dave... way too tired.

Ras G was the one that played before Kode9? i was so glad ppl were getting into some distorted bass beats... ppl were even getting into shit that was de syncopated and slow down and speeding up. a really inspiring evening at Dub War :!:

Any ID on the last tune Kode 9 played? He played that at the World Financial Center too. It's SICK!

Ras G was awesome too. The Dark Knight followed by Kode 9 at Dubwar. Not a bad way to start the weekend.

' a really inspiring evening at Dub War ' sums it up perfectly for me. great to see it packed out. really enjoyed overcast's set, got the momentum started nicely. ras g was on point and def brought up the energy fo sho. then theres the brutal kode 9. straight murderation in my eyes, man started with heat and never looked back! left around 3ish, as 'touristing' in 90+ temps makes one a little tired. well worth the trip, plan on doing it again ASAP.
Out to NYC, Big Up!

kode9 was huge huge huge. brought a couple of newbies. needless to say, they were not disappointed.

ras g's set was wicked as well. anyone know where to snag some of his releases? the usual suspects aren't turning up anything.

i took it back to how we used to do dubwar last summertime...too many drinks and too much rowdiness. dont remember dancing. or any dj....or anyone. but glad it all turned out ok! almost got picked up by the cops a block or two away...good for me, i know how to charm the cops..."officer, ill be honest, we are fucked up and tryin to sober up with some fresh air" HAH. oh god.

OK I thought it was just me and my friend who were having a weird night.
There was that guy in the back all sweaty without his shirt on that was really vexing me. Every time I moved over a few feet he would be dancing near me again. I had to keep moving to get away from his sweaty back.

I took my friend who is a house music guy, and he enjoyed it for the most part but he couldn't handle the volume so we didn't stay the whole night. I was ready for a few more hours, but at least I got to see Kode9 kill it.

Ras G's set was cool, hard to skank to at some parts but maybe the crazy people in the back might have been throwing my mood off too. Good job with everyone on the mike.

So this was my second dub war, and I guess this is my first post on the forum.

kode 9 totally destroyed it . i missed a buch of joe nice's set due to exhaustion due to kode 9's set

i will say again that i seriously think dubwar sets should be recorded more often . history in the making and it just kind of evaporates into the air after its done . lets make a record for future generations . oldskool jungle rave sets from 93 and 94 are like history lessons , why not do the same
