Post by deapoh » Fri Jul 14, 2006 8:31 am

I only learnt the basics of Reason and wiring last Tuesday and thought I'd give it a proper go...

Well, you're of to quiet a good start though. All the elements seems to swing together and the build up works. A point to concider when working in Reason is to get the track properly mixed afterwards as this improves the sound quality considerably. So you just go ahead my son :)

good start Deap man ! The drumz are sick but need more dynamic imho.
The bass is too loud or too present. A bit of compression could help man.
But there is already something interesting in the atmosphere of the track.
Love the percu too.
Anyway write the whole track and then focalize on production.
My 2 cents ;-)
