Just frustrated with the lack of availability of full tracks on CD and buying MP3s seems a little unsatisfying...but I can't mix or anything.

Do it then, although online record stores are getting there with mixes/remixes etc I have still yet putchase a tune online. Its just the lack of physical contact, its just not as exciting as getting a parcel or carrying a stack of tunes out of the shop

daft. if a tune is good, why can't you listen to it at home? and if you do, why not on vinyl?

i collect vinyl because it's the best form of music media and it looks well nice on the shelf. dj? yeah, sometimes. but that's not the point. most dance music comes out on vinyl because of the dubplate/dj culture so not to buy it just because of that is really messing up sales for those artists.

sure, you can buy mp3's but that just doesn't feel secure enough and there's no object to look at.

edit: ok, i'm repeating what's already said. that all popped up while i was writing....

I don't see your problem tbh.
Go out and become a vinyl junky.
Stop being so fassy man.
Come on get some spine and buy some tunes.
You know you want to...
