That's funny as shit!
Off the top of my head a couple Yanks that I know would kill over a grime track.....36 Mafia, Eminem, Twista, Bone Thugs (yeah I said Bone, lol). Those are just mainstream cats I fired out off the top of my head too. Not my kind of Hip-Hop but they would all kill it. There are 1,000 MCs over here I'm sure could do it and do it damn well. Completely discounting music because of where it's from is slightly ignorant, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Just to clear up any confusion the beat is called (with some irony) "Murder Music" by Mr Slash, from the "2 Piece Chicken, No Drink" EP (BULLET009). The melody kinda reminds me of Tek A Pill (no dig, purely coincidental!), which is something I'd recommend all you do. (Tek a pill means chill out BTW!)

Oh and Dubzach, be aware that part of the reason Grime came about was becasue of a large percentage of (post 1996) US Hip Hop being absolutley shite, therefore inspiring british youth to start making their own stuff:

Quote from Devilman, a Birmingham MC

"When I was young I had guns for the telly, growing up listening to pr**ks like Nelly"

So in a weird roundabout way, America is kinda responsible for creating Grime.

All good music comes from the heart, so do what you feel mate. It'll all work out in the end. In the meantime go and listen to some old Dizzee, Wiley and Beezy if you want to learn about Grime vocalists. America has got pure vocal talent too, Ludacris would work well on Grime. Jungle would have been pretty boring without Wu Tang's 36 Chambers samples plus dubstep producers still sample loads of U.S. MCs (Kromestar+Bonecrusher=Attenshun).

Now somebody hook me with one of those Japanese mustard pizzas, all this writing has made me hungry,

(World) Peace.
This is neither time or the place.

cant blame the guy for trying you need to work on your vocals though still, perhaps listen to a few grime artists chipmunk, tinchy stryder, boy better know, wiley, ghetto, devlin and get a feel for the sound first.

Nope - I write a lot of shit. Chatting is what you do in the street with your mouth. Since you won't rely to my PM, allow me to demonstrate the skill of Shaolin...

It would seem that it wasn't just Jungle that drew upon US Hip Hop influences, certain promoters also relied on 36 Chambers quotes to spice up their forum posts:

After a little break BodyNod has gone away and reformed like Voltron to bring you a line up we think will get any self respecting Grime, Garage or Dubstep head kinda hype.
Selective quotation really is the height of bad manners, no? Okay, my comment on Jungle was a bit of a generalisation but that's my opinion and last time I checked I was entitled to have my opinion. If you disagree then provide a valid argument instead of just clubbing me down with blunt insults.

I can't hate on you BodyNod, you put together some sick lineups and you're doing a lot more for the scene than many other promoters who are killing this sound by treating Dubstep as just another musical cash-cow, so respect for that, just ease off on the snipes Sir. I'm on your side, still.
