Deep, warm, rolling, futuristic dubstep?

Post by citizen » Thu Aug 07, 2008 12:45 pm

Is that too specific? Ha.

I like a pretty wide variety of dubstep, but I find the stuff that I'm really digging at the moment is kinda epic, warm and kinda futuristic. Stuff like 2562's Kameleon and Enforcers, Headhunter's Grounded. Oh, and pretty much anything Elemental does is hitting the spot, too.

Any tips for stuff that is on a similar tip that I might not have heard? Doesn't necessarily have to be vinyl - just top shelf tunes of this style - any format.

Cheers!

Kode 9 - Magnetic City. The most futuristic track I've probably ever heard probably.

Ruckspin - Ceaseless. Check out anything by Ruckspin, Planas and Quark - not exactly futuristic in it's truest sense but definately timeless.

these tunes are rough mixes, still tweaking the small bits. first tune in the player is kinda gangster, the second two might be more what you're thinking of.
