It was about time music had someone to chase after... to try and emmulate whilst they looked up to as well as for.
plus even tho i now know his face dude is still a ghostly mystery to me...
as long as theres no 'at home with Burial' pictorial 7 page feature in OK! magazine we'll all be fucking golden.

LOL
Just got a mail from their legal department after i mailed Smart twice today..i threatened them with liable and invasion of privacy after they called me a moron and printed my email address in the paper today.
I hope Mr Bevan doesn't feel put out by people into his music reacting in the manner they have regarding all this, i just felt something needed be said to Gordon Smart and the way he went about it.
I don't know if any of you are aware of this either, but Smart actually offered 5 large to the Guardian journo who did a piece on Burial a while back. Enough was enough when i heard that. Time for words to be said.

The Sun is always looking to be provocative and get reactions out of people, some of the responses and the e-mailing of this guy is what they want, how many additional hits on the website has all this provided?
A lot of you are far too precious, it is a brilliant album that deserves a wider audience, good luck to him. As for the anonymity, I don't think it wa inevitable that he had to be 'unmasked', and frankly I don't give 2 shits who he is, where he comes from, or what he looks like. It's all about the music. Some people need to remind themselves of that.
"At the workplace, you shouldn’t look at problems in a traditional way. There might be better solutions. Dare to be creative," is Wang’ archlord power leveling s advice."

Word on the grapevine is he's doing a collab with penjewlum, britney spears on vocals, rob sparx is gonna put it out.
Neka,
You've been warned in another thread about the "jew" remarks. We don't tolerate any kind of that talk on this site, whether you find it amusing or not. This is the last time this will be addressed.

Okay :S
Not trying to sound like a tnuc but it would probably be better to warn people via PM cause not everyone follows up reading threads after they've posted in them.

sun writers do it up pantomime style cos that's why ppl buy newspapers.
to see clusters of related information styled as narrative and to feel drama.
that's a coincidence, though.
my beef is, after looking at good old will's myspace,
when i listen to his tunes i am newly overwhelmed.
i see his face in my mind's eye.
he speaks to me, saying things like,
"hi, i'm will of the bevans and i hope you like this tune you're trying to listen to. do you? do you like this one? do you like my hat? i hope so. can you help, i'm trapped in this car..."
all of this masks the music from my listening and i just want to watch him on strictly come dancing with p d james.
no but if i ever see him i'm going to get his autograph and try to convince him that i understand how he feels. then i'm going to point him out to everyone around.
but only cos the music told me to.
just the music.
only the music.
his music.

I gotta just say it...
he's quite the looker.
I'm glad he's realized that the 'secret identity' persona was blowing up way too big and almost seemed like it was becoming a shtick. But it's reassuring that even in our visual culture music can be appreciated for what it is, music sans flashy teeth and tits.

lol why is everyone getting so opinionated and uptight about this, the guy clearly doesnt mind releasing his own identity as he has clearly stated "it's no big deal".
for me its nice to put a face to the music.

Not quite, that is a little out of context.
He was saying that who he is is no big deal, then followed it up with "I wanted to be unknown..." then it becoming an issue etc...
And I think the main reason people are uptight is because of the way it happened, and Gordon "un-deserved to be publicised nationally" Smart. Everything about him.

Does anyone else notice how media seems to be the downfall of all social groups. Most racism, random hate, destruction of art, and things along those lines is down to the media. I often wonder how the people who write the bullshit daily for the nation sleep at night but then I remember it's probably on a bed of money in their ignorant little world of capitalist dreams...
fuck them
