yes that drives me fucking mad, and anyone who uses it is an absolute prick

Stanton says this! I don't think he's a prick at all.

Oh dear god don't get me started on that. "Oh that's so ethnic"... what the fuck do you mean? Or a friend of mine saying i was into "ethnics" because my girlfriend was south american.

People acting like caucasian isn't an ethnicity

"Oh but that's just your opinion" - Yes, obivously it is my opinion, that's why i said "i think" in front of it. What you mean is that you don't agree with my opinion and think that mine is invalid, as opposed to your own equally tenuous opinion which for some reason isn't "just an opinion"

its just a word. just because "ethnic" is used doesn't mean anyone gives more or less of a shit about them. don't feel slighted in the least. just winds up being another divisive word---one of dismissal for the ones who are included and one of exclusion for those who feel they don't get props.

the grass is always greener. from my position, i'd rather not be separated by being an "ethnicity". i'd love to be a member of a "faceless homogenized" group, if for no other reason than not ever having to know how much i "differ" by not being part of it.

Chillax

'Not that I'm (insert racist, sexist, etc)..but' in order to prefix (and try to lessen the severity of) a paticularly offensive statement.

People talking about themselves in the 3rd person

As for 'dude' its the same as people using things like 'chief', 'mate' etc. Doesn't bother me at all. Particularly useful when you can't remember someone's name to avoid embarassment.

Most management speak just amuses me rather than riles me up.

I find a lot of the forced 'invented' words more annoying than anything else, people trying to be 'unique' and or witty and generally failing very badly. It seems to be one of the trends in here more and more. You are not Chris Morris, so don't even try, you just look like a conceited tit.

I also meant to say I am surprised at how regularly the 'c' word is used around here recently and other words that most women I know would find extremely offensive.

i thought it just didn't have the same severe meaning in the UK as it did in the US so i was just like, "Oh well its not as bad there so thats why its said a lot."

lol at my attempt to be worldly heheheh.

There's some sexual slang that is flat out unpleasant, makes me wonder how people think saying them is sexy. Not so much annoying, more "why?"

"up in your guts" has to be the worst

"It's an acquired taste."

It annoys me even more that people use it meaning selective taste which isn't the same meaning as acquired taste.

People who type "of" instead of "have", like "should of" instead of "should've / should have".

Seriously, what the fuck?!? :x

I would have quoted someone, but I've gotten this far, I can't be bothered to go back and look. But "po po" is disgustingly annoying. My boyfriend used to say it -.-
