prolly best thing i have seen was dj dexter, he has some serious skill.

can rember when he played toxic instramental and then dropped original nutter into it.

i have not seen people ever go that mental.

Derrick May 1996 @ Graceland in Vancouver (with Stacy Pullen as well)

honestly, put things in place & perspective for me. BIG! The dj set as statement, and fuck do you listen! Derrick's first tune entrance was quite.. a lesson in suspense, beauty, teasing the kick drums for minutes as the ambience and melodies won us over. You can't beat that.

Andy C @ One Nation @ Stratford Rex circa 1999 (I think)
Think he played the last set and opened with Konfilct - Messiah, thought I could hear voices in the intro (that'll be the little friends I had with me :D )

Noisia b2b Raiden @ Renegade Hardware @ The End (can't remember the date, but do have the set somewhere) I've never been the same since.

All the DJ's at the Brainfeeder festival, that night was absolutley immense. I was a mess for 3 days after that from just booze!

Silkie and Martyn at Break The Habit few weeks back. Probably because I was sober and it was the first time i'd heard Martyn play out. Silkie fucking smashed it though.

I've seen Trace a bunch of times and he was always one of my favorite D+B artist - but this one time in Philly..he was starting with these abstract, atmospheric tunes and then building with 3 or 4 or 6 tunes and then he would drop it back down to start again..His entire set was like a big saw tooth..formally speaking

- that was a really great set - I listened to every single thing he did..

Probably TC at glastonbury 08. Tearing it apart with Foo Fighters remix, offline, and wheres my money caspa remix. Was right at the front and died on the spot on several occasions. I then asked him to marry me after his set

I dunno, see some bloody good ones but usually too off my tits to remember.

One that comes straight into my head is EZ at Bed Club Faliraki. I went on my own coz my mates were being dicks and EZ just went completely sick. Every mix was crazy.

Africa Bambaataa in some tiny little club 8/9 years ago.
Wicked vibes, wicked sounds, in the presence of a legend.
