Bass Clef – "The crossroad between Burial, Vex'd, and Aphex Twin" has been rolling out digi-dub-dancehall instrumentals all over the world with an eclectic selection of instruments, bleeps and bass tones. Bass Clef on the buttons means all soles on the floor with no prisoners. After catching Mr Bass Clef's epic set at Sonar Festival 2008 we've had to book him for London, Brighton and Newcastle. Dirt, grime and raw talent rolled into one is a rising star for 2008.

Also playing live on the night is TAWIAH (Live) Voted best newcomer by Gilles Peterson for 2008, 22 year old Tawiah has made a huge impact on the UK music scene, playing a host of high profile gigs and festival appearances, including Glastonbury, Rise, and O2 wireless. Tawiah has taken time out from touring with Jay Z and Mark Ronson to come and play her last London date before hitting the studio to complete her forthcoming album.
Just to give you an idea of Tawiah's style, the track "Every Step", has the sort of gently rumbling bassline and undulating guitar riff you'd normally expect to hear on a U2 or Radiohead record while elsewhere her music, which Tawiah herself has dubbed "twisted soul", bears elements of jazz, electro, indie, broken beats and rock. This is a chance to see one of the UKs most exciting new artists in an unbelievably intimate setting at 8pm, upstairs in the live room.

Two of London's best loved club nights: Deviate and Reggae Roast have teamed up to bring you an awesome all day event of quality DJs and live acts for one big extravaganza from daylight to darkness. The music will be spread over 3 rooms and include Tawiah (Live), Dom (The Nextmen), DJ Derek, Bass Clef (Live), Man Like Me (DJ Set), Brass Roots Live (includes members of Young Blood Brass Band), Exel & Sandman, Mark (Solution Sound), Moodie, Dom Chung, Mike Jones, Tony Underground and more..
The all-dayer begins at noon with a selection of DJs spinning an eclectic summer soundtrack in the courtyard with BBQs blazing and live graffiti murals throughout the afternoon. 'Brass Roots', a 9-piece brass band that includes members of Young Blood Brass Band, will also be entertaining the courtyard, tooting a selection of classic covers, from Marvin Gaye to Amy Winehouse. As the sun begins to set, the three indoor dance floor areas will come alive. Each DJ has been hand picked to cover a range of musical styles including: Roots Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Minimal, Dubstep, Tech House and much more.
11 hours, 4 live bands, 25 DJ's, art, film screening ,great vibes & a delicious BBQ in heart of the East London all at the unbelievably low price of £6
