Hello people, just wondering if any of you can settle a long running debate in my house-
Burial-Boy or Girl?
Everything I have read seems to imply Burial is a boy my house mate is convinced its a girl

Nope, doesn't matter at all- just a discussion we have been having and be pretty interesting is the first female of dubstep- Thats all.

Not being sexist, not saying no women in dubstep but I am not aware of any that have been very successful as yet, Im sure there will be.

Owns ammunition - so tempa, road and soulja (I think) wouldn't exist without her, and nor would fwd>>. Quite possibly youngsta wouldn't have gone in this direction without her influence, and dubstep certainly wouldn't be in the same position it is now...

yer right as far as "big names" in dubstep go, yeah...but i'm seein' some women getting down to the sound, so i think some good tunes are not far behind.

and somethin' i've noticed in many different music scenes, is that there is bound to be women behind the scenes (as shown by an above post), and under the radar...always.

sarah works quietly and tirelessly for dubstep behind the scenes and has done since before there was a 'scene'.
