M-Audio brings you this free webcast examining the focus/energy of the mix (mixing around the kick), EQing, editing, sidechaning, panning, levels, etc. for all of the typical elements rhythm, instrument and vocal parts of club tracks.
Just listening to it now. Thought I'd share it!

Ugh... I refuse to install Real Player on my computer, it always crashes or gets fucked up somehow. Would anyone mind summarizing the main points or uploading an MP3 of it? Thanks in advance.

You can use Windows Media Player too.
Strangely enough I can't get it to play through FireFox and use IE instead.

I'll try recording it when I arrive home. I'm wifi browsing while travelling home right now.
It has slides showing while the lecturer explains things, but luckily enough theres a pdf with it.

I downloaded it but have absolutely NO idea how to convert the *.IVR file to a *.MP3.
Searched Google - didn't find an answer or encoder.
Pity.
