Let's hope Joy doesn't go the way of Sorrow!
The sample is so familiar, i just can't remember what it's from - a li'l help?
EDIT: On a related note - isn't the amount of unchecked emotion in D1's current output amazing when you think about the stuff he released that was so important in the original evolution of dubstep? It used to be that when I thought of D1 I thought of dirty, chemical tunes, juddering along like machines!
Anyway, no one plays his stuff enough - can anyone point me to any mixes with recent stuff in? The tunes are sick and all that but being mixed in with other people's tunes it would sound even fresher. But even more importantly...WHERE ARE THE RELEASES!? He's never released anything on a label not owned by the Ammunition camp, must be some harsh contracting biz...
Thus ends my D1 gushing.

There's a tune of his called 'Cave' which i think is coming on the same release as 'Joy'. Massive tune!

still play loads of D1 myself too, got at least 6 bits that are over a year old and sick that still aren't out, i guess it might be difficult clearing the samples though
"who killed the sax man" still isn't out though which is bordering on criminal!
