I got a generator. Its big enough to run my turntables, amp and my fridge. I got a carton of smokes too!! I good to go!!

yes, im staying.
i live far north so i think i will be ok.
im just worried about the winds and the windows of my house.
i didnt board up or anything, so i dont know.

we have had no power since about 11 pm last night.
fortunately, we still have running water.
Its so miserable and hot outside.
:/

today, we drove about 45 miles just to find an open grocery store.
supposedly, a lot of the closed stores will open tomorrow which would be a relief considering I desperately need to charge my phone and we need ice for the foods.
also, we are hoping to find a battery operated fan of some sort to help with the heat in case it takes weeks for the power to be restored.

my house didn't suffer too much damage thankfully.
my fence is a little bent up but that's about it.
