DUB-US Production Contest - SAMPLES POSTED! Download now!

DUB-US.com is proud to present our first production contest!

The winner will be selected by a panel of judges (names TBA) and will receive the following:

-Domain name of choice for one year
-WordPress package (set up and some design included)
-Hosting for one year (storage and transfer TBA)
-Satisfaction of being judged by a panel of your peers and being chosen as a winner
-Stronger bones and teeth (not guaranteed)


Rules:

-Download the sample pack
-You can use non-sample pack samples
-Must use the accapella provided in some way
-Only one tune per board member
-Entry must be between 130 and 145 bpm
-Eat your veggies


Contest begins Monday, September 15th and we will accept entries until Monday, October 13th. The winner will be announced Monday, October 20th!

you can use any samples, the only sample you are required to use is the accapella contained in the zip.

ok i started one up, made of like 90percent of the samples

but i only used 3 words from the acappela is that still good ?

basically, yea, you can do whatever you want with the tune but i would advise against trying to release or sell the tune as some of the samples are from retail sound packs. if we get enough good tunes maybe we'll do a free mp3 EP, which would be cool for the forum and promoting individual producers!

submissions can be sent to patternawareness (at) gmail (dot) com.

i am still working out some of the kinks for the contest but for now the important parts are defined: the samples, rules and deadlines.

i look forward to everyone's submissions!!! thanks!
