today, we drove about 45 miles just to find an open grocery store.
supposedly, a lot of the closed stores will open tomorrow which would be a relief considering I desperately need to charge my phone and we need ice for the foods.
also, we are hoping to find a battery operated fan of some sort to help with the heat in case it takes weeks for the power to be restored.

my house didn't suffer too much damage thankfully.
my fence is a little bent up but that's about it.

Sorry to hear that ang. If you guys need anything like food or showers. hit me up on AIM and you guys are more that welcome to come over here. We never lost power and we have plenty of food. Just holler if you need anything.

makes me appreciate what i normally take for granted

and we fared much better than a lot of unlucky folks
