Hell yes, We have two dif. camps were lots of dubstep will be played. a little dnb and breaks too. Burning man was were I first heard dubstep a few years back and got into the sound. I could't belive there was a new genre that had sprung up that I didn't know about already. I bet there will be quite a few systems playing it this year. Its to bad that a lot of the sick big systems are not going to be there this year because of lack of funding. El Circ was one of the best playing all sorts off sick beats and had lots of big names stopping be to play sets.
Our first camp is located at 3rd and brave called energy riders, and the other camp is kostume kult located at 8th and espalande. Come on by like I said its not going to be all dubstep but the other tunes will be very solid trust me.
I posted stuff about burning man months ago on here, and people were just ingnorant assholes about it. Blah blah blah just a bunch of fucking hippies ect. Made me not wat to be part of the dubstep community and just stick to music side of it. Lots of closed minds on here, but I can see there are lots of good people as well, don't get me wrong.

And cdj's!! It is true, it is some of the harshest conditions for (anykind) of gear being that the dust it so fine it will filter through your tent..Pretty much anything you take out there is a sacrifice.RickyRicardo wrote:I hope you got somewhere cool to store your wax. These events sound like fun, but I'd definitly be nervous about bringing my tunes out in the middle of the desert
I guess that's why we have FS/Serato
Also so i heard El circo's sound system still might be coming...possibly being rented by another krew i'll have to confirm that. Eitherway there will be dubstep on some large systems there this year..
yes, you never know if you will lose any gear. I bring records and sound every year and "knock on wood" have never lost a single record or piece of sound equipment. Get a good hard case for the records one that has that foam insulation and its amazing how cool it keeps the tunes I still would not leave them out in direct sunshine all day. When you get back home have a damp rag wipe them off then a dry one and your tunes will be almost as good as new.
