Yeah id have to say its my favourite so far...dont know who's behind them per se but the artists are deffo linked to the soundslikewerk parties...the next one is this weekend...special guests announced on the night...

The previous few line-ups, disclosed on arrival, have included Matthew Herbert, Four-Tet, Kode 9, Patrick Pulsinger, Modeselektor, Dani Siciliano and Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir.

The next party is this Saturday

Atki2 produced the B side of Vol 1 as well. I think the blokes tunes are class. New one coming out soon on Shadetek called Sweaty Palms with Renne Silver (who imo is the best MC I've heard this year) which is nice and skewed & grimy. If you like this type of thing check out Monkey Steak too, Atki2's half of them

Most of the Werk stuff I've heard I think is ace. Po Ski is a tip of mine for next year... (tho my 'tips' normally don't mean much ha ha!)

Cheers for feedback chaps. Good to know how you're all feeling about it.

Looks like that's gonna be the end of the grim dubs thing too - which is a good thing I reckon. No more anonymity.

Hmmmm i loved the concept and the tunes weren't half bad either!!

Is it really necessary to know who produced the track if the track is good?

Yeah, nice work Atki2. I actually played the a-side on T/P at Ruffneck a couple months back, but had to give it back to Sam afterwards

I had also heard that...Its a shame. I had just put a really good electro producer in contact with the Werk guys as he wanted to do a Grim Dubs release...
