Disposable Dubs

Post by spencertron » Wed Sep 24, 2008 10:27 pm

who's up for joning in? Start a new tune tomorrow finish it tomorrow.

Show people how disposable our music really is (thats just a joke).

i may not even get it finished, it don't matter if not. my only cheat will be my drum kit is setup and bussed and layered, i always use the same settings for those, (but the patterns need to be written).

just something to do.

I might have a go at this.

Not immediately though - I've got to hand in a thesis tomorrow then celebrate over the weekend then recover for a few days. So maybe tuesday or wednesday...

Gangsters,

Heres my contribution, only had six hours to finish it cause had to go to work which ate up the rest of my production time. still a tidy effort mr thinks.

Mistah Bones (320) Small prize to anyone who gets the reference. It's bass heavy dubbed out halfstep - I'd like to think it's deep and trippy but it might just be boring. This isn't usually my style but it was what came out so I went with it.

Made between 12.30 and about 2 in the morning. It was fun, actually - it's good to have a sense of urgency to really get stuff done. I might try it again some time...

Haha, been thinking about that book a lot lately. Wouldn't mind this place sinking into a tropical lagoon frankly, at least the weather would improve.

Like the tune, and i'm not normally a halfstep kinda guy. Fits the theme well too.

One of the clicky sounds is a bit piercing, but it might be the crap headphones, kinda like this. Might try to put something together for this, don't have much time as it is, so quick working might be fun.
