Very good point. I have a hard time taking someone seriously who slags off the way this forum is run, yet at the same time relies on it for advertising their parties/releases/mixes/etc.

This isn't directed at anyone in this thread, more of a general observation...
or better yet, complaining about an internet forum, while posting on an internet forum. And the idea that this forum is trying to control anything is laughable. We control a bunch of ones and zeros. If you seem to think otherwise, then thats your own luggage and insecurity talking. No ones forcing you to post here, and its a free service, and if you want to take a free service for granted then thats on you, not this site.

Isn't thing supposed to be about the next forum awards?

The topic doesn't state "Do you think you are too big?"

Good work boys, you managed to have a nice big online hug and completely avoided addressing the issue in discussion, the next awards. Good hustle.

the issue in discussion is the awards. it was diverted, but as we have said on page one, a full announcement is coming. what else needs to be addressed to your satisfaction?

I wanna be invited to at least read the bash...

I totlly forgot how left out I feel. It was like a void in my heart until people reminded me.

I miss the bash I never went to.

Anyone who's a member can vote. Lean FWD is an all-time classic, where's the 'injustice'?

of course you need to stay detached - you're gonna win the best radio show, err, i mean best tv show category so you can't just ruin the credibility around here.

FWIW, I went to the awards bash last year and had a wicked time. I'm not part of some elite clique - didn't know anyone there except my girlfriend, who I went with - but it was basically a bunch of killer DJs playing great sets. I'm not seeing the problem with putting on a massive night at Herbal with N-Type, Kode 9, Anti Social, Caspa and Rusko, Benga and the rest and having a five minute announcement in the middle about the awards. If someone could tell me how that's a bad thing I'd like to know...

Are the opinion and decision regarding that opinion one-in-the-same, or will there be some actual voting taking place in regard to categories, etc? Seems to me there's more than one Dubstep website and forum on the internet, maybe bring them all together and encourage people to vote, even if they aren't a member. Like sign up for some sort of Feedburner service or something of that nature, so anyone can vote once per email address, etc... maybe also IP, etc. That way it would be enough of a hassle to sign up and vote, it might block those who would want to vote more than once-but still give those who don't post or cannot post here a chance to vote.

I guess it is called the Dubstep FORUM awards though, after all.
