NYC Dubsteppin this Sat @ Direct Drive

Post by dq » Wed Nov 30, 2005 6:51 am

Hey all,

A quick announcement for all those in the New York City area. Following up on the the massive Dub War / Direct Drive weekend at Rothko, Direct Drive will be featuring dubstep, grime, and mashup ridiculousness downstairs in the second room all month.

This Saturday, December 3rd, it's Dave Q and the one and only Aaron Spectre holding it down. If you don't know Aaron Spectre by now get familiar. His 'Life We Promote' mix is some of the nastiest shit you'll hear all year, mixing up ragga, the Bug, Loefah, Capleton, and death metal like it's nobody's bomboclaat business. Download it here.

Myself, Dave Q, will be playing dubstep all night, and expect b2b business with Aaron Spectre deconstructing the records live on laptop.
