[L.A] THE BUG/WARRIOR QUEEN/6 BLOCC/PROFESSIONALS PIX!
APX 1 - "Now that was a feeling and vibe felt from a crowd that you just don't see too often anymore."
In a nutshell that was it bruv!
The place rammed out early and there was a feeling of eager anticipation of what was to come.
I know that there were alot of rumors floating around as to whether Warrior Queen was even gonna make it into the country because of visa situations...but the dubstep gods were on our side and Los Angeles got to host the FIRST American appearance of The Bug & Warrior Queen, a live performance...and what a show it was.
Magi was first to bless the dex and brought the ladies onto the floor with his hypnotic beats and bass, you can always count on ole Mag to do that!
Next up was Pablo "El Wobblo" Hassan and myself B2B alongside Mr. Kempst (whoops he would be at Poolside Pressure the next day) KEMST was in the building that night and roll called everyone to the floor, now the party started cracking.
6 BLOCC & JUAKALI stepped up and in the booth and thats when for me the party juices began to flow, track after track 6 BLOCC was slugging Homeruns and Jua got the crowd so hyped I swear I saw panties flying! Man a dynamic & deadly combination these two!
At fever pitch THE BUG stepped in the booth and began plugging in and preparing to take the place into Warp drive....BOOOOOM....SKENG comes crackling across the speakers, the levels got pegged and from then on we all hung on for dear life...
THE BUG was at the controls but wheres Warrior Queen?
Oooh there she is brocking out in the front row with all the ladies! Gwaaaaan!
By the time The Queen grabbed the mic the place was as Pablo likes to say "Asses to elbows" and was shaking with Low End frequencies that make your spine tingle.
From the very moment she began to big up the crowd, people just got straight hyped and it was a frenzy on the floor. Her dulcet tones blessed us all, and with that deep sub bass rumbling underneath her voice just made for a wicked blend.
"POISON DART" beats crept through the woofers and folks began to jump as they knew what was coming "It's all about the Bug and Warrior Queen ya know what I mean!"...straight madness ensued.....REEEEEEEEEEWIND!
Man what a night, great show, great crowd and both Bug and Warrior Queen had a great time. All the way to the airport they spoke of how dope the crowd, the venue and the sound was and how everyone was smiling and brocking out. They weren't expecting L.A to be like that and I think Pure Filth was a good way to enter the States and pop their U.S cherry...it sure got them fired up for the rest of the shows and they've also just been offered to go on tour with Nine Inch Nails! Result.
Big up the FILTH massif, until next time, Jah know ya big!
