taking the piss or what? they make terrible pendulum-esque d&b and now they're making terrible dubstep that sounds like...what pendulum would sound like if they made dubstep. people always talk ominously of that inevitable time in the future when dubstep starts to go down the tubes. look no further, its THESE idiots who will be at the forefront of the genre's demise into banality, i guarantee it

pendulum, chase and status aren't the enemy. they have their sound and its all subjective.

the elephant in the room right now is everyone trying to out drop the next man, and the general loudness wars that have filtered into dubstep increasingly every month, from the dnb world.

what happened to dynamic range? where are quiet bits in tunes? where are melodic build ups?

its almost like you can get a bit of tissue paper and a pen and jot down the whole map of these tunes in 15 secs..... LOUD LOUD WOBBLE WOBBLE LOUD LOUD WOBBLE WOBBLE DROP1 LOUD LOUD LOUD DROP2 FADE OUT.

listen to amit. listen to klute. listen to calibre. listen to breakage. listen to john coltrane. creating vibes is creating a bit of mystery in the music. using emotion and imagination.

this need lately to smash peoples faces off with loudness, doesn't progress the music. it makes it really juvenile.

Somebody needs to play this riddim to Jo Whiley and remind her what an orgasm feels like.

Whoa... it was just a matter of time before they fucked up their dubstep...
Ofc the bass is heavy. But I don't wanna make a bassface with gay 80's vocals supporting it.

Stop bashing the intro, it's perfect for a little mdma dancing. Smiley faces, then move your hands like your stroking gods ballsack.

Hmmm not sure about this one. Definitely prefer their other dubstep tunes.

Would make a lively mix-in, then cut to the drop.

It's a grower.

all the people slating this tune, are forgetting where dubstep came from, a fusion of different sounds.. this is just something DIfferent, it should be apreciated, chase+status have been , making fresh sounding, new ideas and tunes for the d+b scene for years now, and they never get slated... just apreciate they supporting your scene..

yeah, someone's singing over the wobble :o
lol exactly.
i think it's crap.

of course i agree people shouldn't limit the sound of dubstep to strict rules and all but at the same time that means that dubstep can go in any direction. crap included. so i think it's neccesary to sort some stuff out.

but apart from my definition of crap: i don't think the tune represents anything that the people i know love about dubstep and i'm sure it's meant to reach a totally different and larger audience with it. in other words: to me it's a sell-out.
