I am glad fire was a part of my childhood, don't think it would have been the same.
Oh my, Fires played a big part of my childhood lol
I could think of nothing more fun than making a flamethrower out of a lighter and aerosol when I was 12
That was, until my friend had one of the deoderant cans blow up about 30cm from his face and recieved bruns on the face, singed hair (whole head, eye lashes, eye brows) everything
Him stumbling over to us after looking shell shocked and very singed and then saying 'I think I'm blind' is still one of the funniest things I have seen in my lifetime
I just nearly choked on my chewing gum after reading that. What a great way to start the weekend.
Where's the list @ Deams>?
strip it down, reveal the elements

Yeah man, fires were cool. But to be honest, I was a bit of a goody two shoes when I was a kid, so didn't really get up to too much like that really.
This is all too apparent in the fact that you put sh*t in the title of this thread rather than shit.

Or was your garden 100% concrete?
I used to go hunting for animals just to look at them, like collecting frogs in a bucket, identifying them then releasing them. I was fascinated by insects though. Still am really, those little armoured bastards are pretty damn cool. I've never seen a grass snake

i used to go insect hunting and that, had this awesome little pot which you could catch an ant or whatever in, then it had a magnifying glass in the top of the lid (so obviously you kept it out of the sun!!) so you could have a look at it properly before releasing it.
When I was a young'en I remember one time when I collected a load of frogs from our pond. I liked the look of them and wanted them in the house. I left them in the conservatory while I went about my business and came back later to find that they had all been fried in the heat. Loads of frog shaped husks. I was devastated

BAHAHAHAHHAA!
I have never had an aerosol explode on me thankfully.
I used to cover my thumb with aerosol and set it alight and do the thumbs up like the man from the old british gas advert.

dubluke wrote:thats dark man, not that i'm implying this is the case here, or the case everytime either, but isn't there some study that showed one of the early signs of a potential murderer was a desire to hurt/kill animals in childhood?
Profile of the Sociopath wrote:# Glibness and Superficial Charm
# Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.
# Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "their right."
# Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.
# Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.
# Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.
# Incapacity for Love
# Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity and gambling are common.
# Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others' feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.
# Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.
# Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets by" by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.
# Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.
# Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts.
# Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.
# Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story readily.

LOOOOOL
I thought I was the only one who did the old thumb over the aerosol, used to show it off to kids in primary school thinking I was bad, telling them I was fire-proof loool
The funniest thing about my mates encounter with the aerosol was that he has very dark hair, but after it was all singed it looked ginger. He turned from brown haired to ginger in a matter of seconds...every brown haired person nightmare I am sure

I am sure what ever your hair colour, turning ginger is an overall nightmare for everyone.
I mean, 25% of ginger kids live normal healthy lives.

Haha, yes, used to do this too. Also, letting gas go into ur closed fist, then lighting the fist whilst opening your hand to a 'fireball' effect. Amazing lol.

Yeah you can, why wouldn't you be able too? Im not starting a serious diet debate but its like oh no thats so bad poor animals all died, whilst sitting there eating cute pigs and stuff. If i had been eating meat all my life i would guess that a kid throwing animals to crocodiles and shit wouldnt be as bad. Obviously the kids got some head problems but the animals being eatern and stuff, wouldnt really bother me.

To be honest the death of the animals wasnt what shocked me, it was the fact that a 7 year was throwing them to their death. That may sound bad....
