mutual one is heavy! i like the dark detriot techno style vibe minimal and bleepy, and the ascending and descending notes.

mutual respect sounds futuristic too but pretty tribal, almost like music that the predator would listen to, the kick drums are a bit prominant for me, i like swing in my beats but reakon more stripped down elements are more suited when your using such a regular kick drum.

i often find i keep adding elements to a tune because i want to make it sound heavier! but its often better just to concentrate on getting fewer elements to sit right! think how rinsing loefahs stuff sounds with such few componants.

Elements are good, liking the vibe on em, but they do need to be filled out a bit. Really atmospheric though, think they've got potential

Reminds me of some of the John Carpenter soundtracks from way back, think he was the one that was pioneering the creepy bass drone business back in the 80's.

Keep at it though, think with some more skills you'll come good - the bare empire moves on (you got a clothing range coming too  )
Hmm....

Listening to mutal 1...dark tribal vibes. Nice sound and good double time rhythms on the bass keeps it moving nicely...maybe put some wooshy type atmos at the start (like you have at the drop)...good ahhhh vocal...very nice 1st min.

Right and respect...nice atmos at the start of this one....another good ahhh vocal too...lots of pressure on the intro. Feels slightly messy maybe with the echoed/delayed high freq bit and doesn't have the impact of the 1st with a nicely defined drop...maybe take away some atmos when the bass kicks in to give it the focus...nice to mood to it for sure.

Big up D

threnody very nice advice. I know the drop isn't clear cos I wanted to put a very defined bass sound over it. Just never got that far.
