Generation Kill starts soon (July) and initial reviews are very positive:

Well, he's certainly getting his start. They've cast him for the remake of Beverly Hills 90210

^ LOL ^

On that sort of note, I recently noticed Carver in Starship Troopers as a gung-ho grunt.

I'm all for the success of the actors from The Wire, but they're all so brilliant....i can't help but to refer to them as their character from the show.

The other night, I'm watching TV and Lance Reddick is doing a Cadillac commercial....i said (out loud), "Oh shit, it's Daniels...what's he doing in an Escalade?"

I can't say i've ever had this happen with any other show.

This is pissing me off. I cant find series 2 on the internet anywheres (apart from youku, which took 5 hours to load up one episode), and I dont want to buy it (25 quid?!) because I heard the second isnt as good as the first.

:(

So I have to miss out on the new series on TV because I cant get up to date.

Bahh... I'm going to have to reflect on whether I really want to take some money out of my important vinyl, trainers and jackets budget and spend 25 notes on some DVDs. :?

Hmmmm.
