Wicked as always, managed to destroy my brain for the vast majority of the night so have very hazy memories of it but... Brackles was sick, loads of funky and garage, it's a shame that for most of his set there were about four of us on the dancefloor really. Bizmarc in room 2 also big - techno mixed with funky, first time I've heard that and it definitely works. Its all about the Gabrielle RMX!

Enjoyed Pangaea's set a lot, some very deep tunes as expected and also nice to hear stuff like '1999' alongside it. Hearing 'Router' on a proper system was a nice moment. 'Put You Down' killed it, big crowd response.

Laughing gas addiction prevented me from seeing most of Pev's set but what I did saw was really really good, kinda wish I'd avoided the lure of oxygen starvation to the domepiece for an hour lol

Enjoyed what I could comprehend of Spam/Metaphi's set, which was precious little during the 20 minutes I was stood against a wall squinting and going 'duhhh?'

Seemed quite busy in there and I quite liked the complete darkness of it all... The afterparty was funny, again I was in completely the wrong mental state for it really but was a laugh dancing to funky and garage and house in the front room... Out to Dawn Treader playing a good set when I stumbled in, out to Mart and Geiom for also killing it... What can I say, I was a mess. Big up Pangaea and Pev also for putting up with the utter shit I was talking. Shame is the name of my game.

Finally, out to the after-after party crew for the descent into utter madness at about 7am.

Next time I'm going to think through my intoxication options more thoroughly beforehand.

On a side note, this section is fucking deadout. Does anyone even know it exists anymore?

yes nice roundup of the nite. the funky and garage certainly was nice start to the night and brackles mixing was consistently tight, i remember hearing a tune i love during pevs set but cant remember the name of in the mix over my 3rd balloon in the next room, bashing the rest down too quick and almost stumble closelining these 4 girls to the floor on the way in, i was a disgrace..the complete darkness meant i was fingerpoking far more md than i wud normally, anyhoo had a big night was nice to meet u corpsey sorry if it seemed like i was stalking u at points but it seemed every room i went into u were there in front of me getting ur skank on.oh and i didnt leave at 12 i think i left at about 5pm when my legs started working again, not sure i remember seeing u in the downstairs room with the speakers in i thought u pussied off much earlier :)

I had a real nice time. All the DJs and live acts were on form. Hold tight for December 12th...the lineup is starting to look pretty tasty.

Don't do it! A couple of well chosen nights out in notts and you'll just spend the rest of your life getting annoyed that not many lineups in london are as good as Futureproof, very few clubs in london are as good as Blueprint (and none of them are as cheap for nice beer) and very few soundsystems in london can match up to Highness in a small room...

The last one in particular - my girlfriend cut her clubbing teeth on the Highness nights at the Social and now she complains that Plastic People is alright but lacks bass...
