No u dont have to buy it all from itunes, but you have to synchronize the iPod Touch with a computer :)

I think its worth investing in, my brother has one, it takes a few tries to get the hang of it but I think she'll like it once she's used to it :]

there is loads of stuff u can do aswell like if she has lots of sets u can save the tracklist i the lyrics and refer 2 it so u know track names etc ect

Yes they are good, also theres a bit of third party software called sharepod which you can use instead of itunes so you can sync more than 1 ipod to your computer or vice versa. it just runs as a .exe file on the ipod itself so no installing shite either.

Aye, they're good fun alright. Although in fairness, I mostly use it for listening to music - never watched a movie on it and hardly ever use it for surfing the net.

ipods for me are a waste of money & more of a fashion accessory than an mp3 player.....

mine is 4gb and cost 27.99...matsui..it works

for mass storage you can get a 300gb zen for less

An MP3 player with a shuffle option would be good.

She can put all her favourite songs on and while she is in the gym she doesn't need to fiddle with it.

i got the 32 gig one about 6 or 8 months ago. its fucking awesome, dont let anyone tell you different. the 3G one is probabyl even better (i aint done the upgrade yet, but i really should)... i say its definitely worth it. wifi when you bored, music, video clipz, all your pictures, even movies. they're so good for long train rides. you finally get the time to watch all those things you didnt have time for before (well after uni anyway).... get her one, it's ace :)
