Ok right, seen the other threads now I checked back a bit further.

As I can't buy it, I cut it out of the Stella Sessions mix instead. I also digitized a few old jungle tunes with a similar vibe and put them on my blog - click the link below.

Love that bassline - tingles...

I think he just means he cut a sample, not an actual dubplate.

No I meant cut it out as in edited it from the MP3 of the whole show. As poster above says there wouldn't be much point in cutting a dub from an MP3 - double the hiss etc. And yeah it does have skream on top - you could get around that with clever editing, but I havent bothered.

i remember reading in another thread that this would never get released because he wont be able to get a clear on the sample.

as it is its fine but if someone cuts a dub of a whole tune without the artist knowing they had the tune that would be pretty off key, DJs cut dubs they've been given for that purpose, they don't go round half inchin em bruv

obviously making a clip from free audio is minor

agreed, if your just doing it for your self, thats all good.

But if ya tryin to play it out......i dont think thats right. If D1 wanted you to play out that choon, he woulda sent ya the dub.

anyway, i really hope this choon comes out on vinyl!!!

He shoudl be able to clear it - but they might want a chunk of the publishing, which would be a pisser if it sold in numbers.

That's more possible but a real release may not be...

I like this one, does anyone else find it embarassingly cheesy, but also emotionally intense and really sad, a bit like a teenager?
