I'm convinced toothpast and mouthwash actually give you cavities, and it is a big money making conspiracy hamster wheel that keeps the Dentists in business.

Last time I went to the dentists they said I needed three root canals, so I had one done every week over the next three weeks. I won't forget that month in a hurry, and I'm staying the fuck away from dentists from now on. Shit, even reading this thread is making my teeth hurt...

BTW, what do you think makes people want to become a dentist? Are you just sitting in school one day doing your science projects and then bam! - "that's it! I want to look down peoples throats and carve out rotten bits of bone for the rest of my life"? Boggles the mind really.

Fluoride does more than give you cavities, it is of the same family as PROZAC. They are putting it in the water and causing depression and histeria. Read up on it.

Well... that's not in any way true

Prozac, or Fluoxetine to give it the generic name contains Fluorine, sure, but it's bound to carbon, making it completely different to the free fluoride found in water.

Plus the very reason it's in prozac (and also a lot of other drugs) is because the carbon - fluorine bond is extremely stable meaning that your liver won't break it down as easily and it will stay in the body for longer, meaning you have to take less

£1100.
Fuck off.
That's to get a crown on a tooth that has a filling in it already, plus get the wisdom teeth out. I can get them done on the NHS so I won't have to spend money on that, but it's going to be £550 for the crown. One tooth!
If i didn't have a dental plan through work, i'd be fucked.
Tis ridiculous.
say your scared they will refer you to an nhs dentist. I had 2 sedated for a tooth that had snapped, they wanted 250 but I said I was scared an they refered me 2 an NHS dental hospital for free
