Think the bass is way too loud, and I think the mix is a bit off (you need a louder snare). Like the riddim though, with a bit of a better mix and making the new parts entrance a bit smoother, it could work quite well. The oriental melodies pretty good, not far off one of mine that I didn't quite get round to finishing. I'm not too keen on the drum sounds though, think you'd be better off maybe using real drum samples. I think if you used a variety of hi-hat samples and gave the snare a bit of compression, reverb and maybe the occassional delay hit to give it some space it'd come off nice.
What's with the space station thing btw?

Safe Alex and Shonky. The space station thing is cause I called myself ObIwan and he has a line in the film that i quoted that goes "That's no moon, its a space station" basically. Thanks for the ideas on the realer drums and variation in hats, all of which is true, I knew there was something wrong with the hats! Thanks for the Ruff Squad comment, gotta love their crazy fast production!

I have had the same pic for months on end, so I thought it was time for a change. Scary clowns are the new rock'n'roll apparently.
Hmm....

Just downloading.....am i the only person who hates megaupload? what a ball ache to get a file....wait 45 secs before it even starts with ads smacking you in the face everywhere. Yousendit all the way!!
Bass is v loud and v possibly out of tune (sharp!?). I don't like the way it just stops either...maybe give it some kind of envelope , the sound is very generic as well....maybe run it through some effects to give it some character.
The melodies are well thought out but the beat is a bit basic, maybe some crashes/rides/hi hats other than the constantly used one. The bass drum and snare are also a little indistinctive...try to give them some.....flava!
Good start on a track tho!
