so how bout instead of everyone telling us how little obama can do, they get out there in the streets, in their communities, and actually do something themselves.
If you'd have read the thread you'd have seen that pretty much no-one except the OP was saying that.

So how about instead of telling us what we should be doing, you read the thread before dishing out orders.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying. I'm confident that Obama's appointment will indeed result in some significant change, but he needs some time to do it! He doesn't even get into the Presidency til the new year does he?

Ok ure clearly not very opened minded to my views but what do you all have to say to this.

In April 2007 in his first major foreign policy speech, Obama stated that "We must lead by building a 21st century military.... I strongly support the expansion of our ground forces by adding 65,000 soldiers to the Army and 27,000 Marines.” One would wonder what he wants nearly 100,000 new soldiers for. Well, when he was asked on Fox News last month about the possibility of bombing Iran he stated that he “would never take a military option off the table.” He also wants to put an extra 10,000 troops into Afghanistan where he said that President Bush had ‘responded correctly’ in fighting the ‘good war’, a ‘good war in which between 20,000 and 60,000 civilians have been killed. He also believes that Pakistan is “the right battlefield ...in the war on terrorism”, and has threatened to attack it.

To be honest all this puts him right at the centre of the Democratic tradition from Kennedy and Johnson in Vietnam via Clinton in Somalia, Kosovo and Iraq.

And what does he offer to the working class in the US? One of the things that was clear about the election campaign was that despite the background of the deepening crisis neither of the candidates had any proposals to deal with the crisis. This is because neither of them had any answers to offer. Nor are there any answers to offer. All that the politicians can hope to do is to bring in austerity measure to attack working class living standards. The first rule of the crisis is always that the ruling class will try to make the working class pay the cost of it. For all his words about ‘workers rights’, he must still implement austerity programmes. There can be no difference between the results of the economic programmes of different parties. Indeed generally there is no difference between the actual programmes.

So what Obama offers is more war abroad, and more attacks against the working class at home. Everything must change so it can stay exactly the same: meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

The fact is that 1 guy can't do shit to a country like America in 4 years let alone 8 years. You should just hope he leaves a legacy which continues.

I would just like to state that I beliee the following to be true...

* 9/11 was planned and carried out by the US government as a reason to move millitary forces into the middle east and secure oil piplines through afganistan, to get Sadam out of power who threatened the entire US economy by trading oil in euros rather than dollars and to put a large scale invasion force on the doorstep of Iran as a prelude to invading their country (again) and stealing their oil

* Global warming is not caused by man made Co2 but is a natural occurence, the faulse info that it is man made is being used to stop industrial growth in third world countries and to scam money out of the western populations through carbon taxes

* The president of the USA and the priminister of the UK are put into power by and are both completely subserviant to an elite of world bankers and money movers, and this goes for France, the Netherlands, Russia and a number of other powerfull countries

* Every significant war in the last 100 years has been manufactured by the banks to put countries into debt and therefor their pocket while ridding the world of excess population

* We are moving towards a 1 world government by stealth, 80% of our laws now come from the european union rendering our democracy in the UK a farce and this will only continue to get worse. Europe (including Russia), America, Canada and Mexico are already under 1 ruling body behind the scenes

* The financial crisis currently facing the world is a manufactured event by this ruling body in order to increase the rate at which money is moving from the hands of the people into the hands of the major banks. It is also a way to crash the £ and the $ through the floor so the UK will have to adopt the euro and the USA will have to adopt the Amero if they wish to survive econimicly

Im not gonna back those claims up by dragging out the million and 1 documentries, news paper articles and other sources of information widely available that have led me to this conclusion. Nor do I wish to enter into any form of debate on any of those issues in this thread as it is pointless, the majority of people believe conspiracy theories to be nonsense and will do anythign to defend their idea of how our world really works. I just wanna add this post so that the one dude, who from where Im standing seems to be talking sense in this thread, doesnt feel like hes the only person who sees these things going on around him.

The new world order is coming for everyone and wont stop untill the earth is united under 1 facist dictatorship.

Feel free to flame all u want, but thats my opinion.

Fair play to you for your faith in these theories. The question I have to ask is what do you plan on doing about it?

yes it is, and its a statistic published in most of the uks major news papers as well as being reported on the BBC and other major channels news programs and is not refuted by a single one of them as it is a fact.
kins83 wrote:Fair play to you for your faith in these theories. The question I have to ask is what do you plan on doing about it?
what can I do? I have no power to do anything other than voice my opinions to anyone willing to hear them in the hope that likeminded people do the same and one day enough people wake up to these issues that it will be impossible for a tiny handfull of people to keep manipulating the entire globe for their own benifit a the expense of 99% of humaity.

As I said I dont wish to get sucked into a debate on these things, if u dont believe a word I have said and wish to challenge these things then just post a bit of flame at me, Im not gonna take offense everyone is entitled to their views. If ur thinking hmmm, Id like to know more and make my own mind up go diggy around on the net theres an almost unlimited supply of people out there with their own ideas on it publishing them in all sorts of formats. If u agree with me then uve obviously already done that and come to the same conclusions so fair play to you. Im not posting ehre to argue my case with people, just to express my opinion along side all the 'stfu' 'gtfo' 'its all nonsense' crews.

Nah man I'm not gonna flame you. You believe what you believe, but you don't refer to doubters as 'the uneducated' or 'the misled majority'. It's that condescending language that certain 'believers' use that really winds me up and leads me into stupid squabbles. :D

Some very interesting quotes here for you to think about :

"The size of the lie is a definite factor in causing it to be believed, for the vast masses of the nation are in the depths of their hearts more easily deceived than they are consciously and intentionally bad. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders them a more easy prey to a big lie than a small one, for they themselves often tell little lies but would be ashamed to tell a big one."

"All propaganda must be so popular and on such an intellectual level, that even the most stupid of those towards whom it is directed will understand it. Therefore, the intellectual level of the propaganda must be lower the larger the number of people who are to be influenced by it."

"Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way around, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise."

"Another weapon I discovered early was the power of the printed word to sway souls to me. The newspaper was soon my gun, my flag - a thing with a soul that could mirror my own."

I don't believe to the extent that some people do because we don't have any evidence but I do believe in the power of greed. Someone always stands to make a profit......whatever happens.

a reasonable conspiracy theorist is
like meeting a rational fanatic
but leaves one in the Great Void
when there are ways of believing
that create a happier reality...

Hence Barrack Hussein Obama,
the welcome surprise.

Choose the darker vision
if you must but,
as our saphic sister says,
act as if we have a chance.
You never know,
as somebody else said,
acting together with agreed goals
and principled aims
wyk...

A reality dominated by submission needs to be changed.

Yup and equally whether that's submission to the "truth" of the ruling class *and* the "truth" of the rebellion.
