did people actually read the original post? How anyone can say Cage (and quite a few others) is pretty incredible as he is the anithesis of the the type of artists the guy wants to be recommended.

Yeah..I realised after the fact that I missed an 'E'.No bigs.

I never said I don't appreciate Nas.I just think the whole "Jay Z fued blah blah blah" proved him to be as much a sellout as Jay Z himself. And he hasn't really said anything that KRS,PE,NWA,or even Brand Nubian haven't already said before.

But what do I know.I'm just a mid-30s,mixed,American who saw quite a bit of hiphop's evolution.

stillmatic a great album?? lol, ok. It had maybe 2/3 good tracks.

Fueds don't make sell outs, but making albums like the Firm do.

you might enjoy our album, (Double Helix 'Future Proof'). You can get a free promo mix from http://www.audiodacity.co.uk, or can buy the album from various record shops and sites, including direct from http://www.nu-urbanmusic.co.uk/shop/pro ... _id=11393.

its not strictly straight up hiphop, but has healthy bass and loads of interesting+often abstract lyrics, (our mc reads a lot of New Scientist etc, is fascinated with human evolution, the future and science fiction... and has a heart), the music fuses dubstep with numerous electronic influences... We've been lucky enough to have had airplay from MAH+others on Radio 1 in the past.

note:we are the Double Helix from Edinburgh, not the Double Helix from London LHF crew that you may be aware of, just to avoid any confusion:)

After 2Pac and Biggie, feuds became mainstream, due to the fact that (as Pac and Biggie proved) that record sales increase over the excitement of the feud. Therefore,it became the sellout thing to do.That and

But yeah....what Dat said too.I lulzd.

If you like your wacked out art school hip hop cLOUDDEAD's self titled albums is still one of the most complete album's of any genre I know of. Why? and Dose's lyrics and delivery are closer to performance poets than your standard hip hop flow tho.
I want my beats to sound like arrhythmia.
