Football Manager 09

Post by Pada » Thu Nov 06, 2008 5:35 pm

:o out soon. any FMers on here?

you can download the demo from the si website now... its pretty good.. although the 3d match engine is a bit crap tbh - and on mac i think there are a few bugs (if i right click then my mouse is permanently on right click till i quit (so i cant edit the arrows on tactics  ) - meaning i cant actually select the quit button to quit)

2d is the business. 3d engines are wack.

2d was great. my pc wont show me any 3d action although im not holding out too much hope...

new tactic screen is GASH. whats the distinct lack of left/right all about!?

Also they've been a bit harsh with the attributes me thinks. Annyway

if it is shit then it can only mean good things for my music/relationship/job/life. sure it'll work out though

Gonna give it a miss this time and from now on I think. Already wasted quite possibly a year of my life on previous versions of the game.

It's just too time-consuming now. Training routines, man-management, etc. has all got too complicated. Logged in a couple of nights ago, played 3 matches and realised I'd been playing the game for nearly 4 hours. The demo's full of bugs too.

Life's too short for this now, methinks.

care to expand? i personally think this looks much better than watching some coloured circles. as i say, as long as my pc handles it. haven't even bothered with the demo.

Aargh...

After my post a few days ago, I have begun to succumb to the addiction after all. A 5-0 away win over Portsmouth re-fuelled the old Champ Man passion
