stuff like this makes me question chase n status. they do some great productions but sum dodgey ones. you would think its cos they are finding their feet with dubstep, but they came with "bits" and "eastern jam" and those are sick but its gone downhill since then imo.
Saxon?
And ye, I prefer the original bassline to this one.
saxons good but bits is MUCH better.
saxon got rinnnnnnnsed to the point where i nearly got bored of it at raves.

the original bass riff has been re-arranged slightly and there's an LFO modulating filter at the start of it now..hardly a wealth of work gone into it...maybe thats what constitutes a VIP mix though? right?
Basically 99% the same they have just added added some double hits to the bass to give more hypement feel.
Pure jokes.

sorry..but i have to join the bits gang too..after enjoying hearing eastern jam or saxon etc for the first time they now arent very interesting at all. Bits is the only one that has stood the test of time for me..I remember being pretty stoked when youngsta mixed it with skreams "filth".
Sorry C & S all the other tunes so far lack something that bits has.

Doesn't really sound that different to be honest, it's quite a lazy remix.. can't see what the fuss is about.

Imo that is the point of a VIP, it can't be too different to the original otherwise it's basically a remix.
I like it, it's enough to make it different to the original
All of this very truesay.
I like it, i think it's a nice little re touch they've put on that bass. But i am deffo all over the original

its good, but the original is great
heard it again on rinse just now, youngsta dropped it again. cos i herd it for the first time unexpectedly in the best context on that plastic people system, it sits well with me. memories of that juiced up bass come to mind STRAIGHT AWAY.

always prefered the bit 32 bars(maybe 64) in from the drop in the original where they got rid of the mid range bass messyness and it rolls proper nicely, seems like its the same in the vip
