Freshers

Just a minor moan this evening as, essentially, by hating freshers I hate myself but the bright eyed optimism about the life ahead just does my nut in.

I answered the same three questions in my first week, deadpan and monotone.

I didn't do any A levels last year.
No, I wasnt on a gap year.
24.

At which point id get a gasp(possibly of shock, more likley of pity) and the conversation stops.

I don't do social's, I don't do fancy dress, and if I want to sit in the union at 12pm with a pint while you sit in your skinny jeans and translucent hair, supping your chai soy latte and discussing the faux-utalitarian nature of the corporate world at large, then i will...without the look of derision and clear disgust at my pre class cockle warmer.

the worlds shit freshers, im just here to facilitate.

i dont remember the last time i properly finished a song. It just gets to the mixing down and mastering and making it sound good stage and i just get bored. and then angry at myself. and then drink all the rum. its a vicious cycle.

I find I can ignore all of that if I just focus on the 18-year-old-girls-who-just-left-home angle, or at least I could when I was at uni. Fun Times!

I went out at to post something but left the package on my desk, ended up in the westfield centre, had a hypogycemic spaz out, spent about £15 on vile food in EAT to try and sort me sen out and then accidentally spent £70 on some fur lined vans chukka boots.
