what impressed me so much about this show is how distinctly unique each of the three sets were, yet so complimentary as well. thanks to you all!
out to MAH for the forum shouts. this has been a buildup and show to remember, and tbh puts all these other whingey threads to shame. fun and pisstaking ftw all day every day

Awesome show. I was also pleased by the shoutouts!
Dusk & Blackdown absolutely killed it, but I also loved Ramadanman's set, pure deepness. S'what I love about this scene, I never thought I'd hear Helios in a clash set.
Speaking of Ramadanman's set, the tune that comes in at about 1:17: does that chord progression remind anyone of a certain house or hiphop tune, a real big one from back in the day... I have been trying to remember it for the last day and a half, but all I can remember is those lush strings in a progression very similar to that one. It's really bugging me.

Blackdown and Dusk absolutely killing it as usual, gotta say i enjoyed Geiom and ramadanman's sets a load too, but Badla Lata Ka, deFocused, the Knife and Gun devil mix and obviously the doogz track pretty much stole the show.
Big ups to all involved, one of the best MAH shows of late, and that is really saying something
Oh yeah and i never thought i'd hear Omar Rodriguez on the same show as that lot, didn't know he was releasing stuff on Stone's Throw, sounds like an odd choice

couldn't agree more, all 3 sets were cold as hell but in a clash every track has gotta go hard....IMO geiom & ram had to duck & backdown cause dem boys were going for the jugularlinear wrote:blackdown and dusk merked it....
ramadanman and geoim were decent too, but got overshadowed by the first set.
Ramadanman & Geiom - Incredible, alot of originality.
Been listening to it again and not feelin Dusk & Black that much, 3 versions of Guns and Knives getting to me a bit. Grimey sure but nothing too fresh I'm thinking, however this is just with repeated listening - first time round I was impressed. A big well done to all three parties, made for a really entertaining show!
