i think the vocal sample is standing "alone" in this tune. maybe to embed by delay/reverb of the ending sound? maybe its to loud?
But can hear just with resticted volume (nighttime).

this is cool.
i'd have to agree with the others on the vocal. to me it they seem a bit detached from the track. a little fx will help it sit a bit better with the other sound that you have used...
look forward to hearing the finshed edit
