I can not move my computer to my dj setup, so i'll need something like a minidisc or something.

Move your DJ set to your computer?
Buy a longer cable?
Minidisc would work fine but is a huge faff in my opinion.

tbh soundforge is miles more than you need and costs a bomb
audacity will do all you need and much more for free
i vote long lead, long leads ALWAYS come in handy (eg if you move), and itll cost £20 or so max ? im guessing but much cheaper than a minidsik or whatever.
its also worth mentioning that a minidisk is a lossy format, ie it will lose some quality instantly when you record which youll never get back. On the computer you can record at CD quality (or higher) and then convert to a range of MP3 formats if you want. Also encoding an mp3 from an already encoded minidisk recording is likely to sound a bit poo IMO...

altho you didnt mention in your post what you wanted to do with the finished recording, you might find the convenience of straight into the minidisk easier if you just want to listen back to your mixes. If you want to put them on the net etc, or burn cds, id stick with my first suggestion. A bit more of a faff maybe but easier in the long run.
