I am yet to hear anything good from itdarkmatterUK wrote:keep at it man, trust me, Thor is the one!!!!Serox wrote:Would love to hear some audio samples of your wump wump in Thor! I can never get anything decent out of it
If som1 showed me something that was made on it that I liked I would get stuck in.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

I would prefer to hear audio and try and work it out please:) (thanks)darkmatterUK wrote:im getting some pretty good results from it at the mo, i might put a few patches 2gether for you so youve got some examples if you like
I hear some nice FX coming from Thor but I have not heard any decent heavy wump wump.

Yeh that's nice but it really sounds like it was made in Reason. Some people don't mind that but I am trying to get rid of it and I know its possible.Hugh wrote:every single bass sound on my myspace player is made in thor. check the "i swear" rmx for some serious wump wump
I cannot even make a simple bass sound similar to what is used in this tune in Reason (It doesn't have much sub but thats easy to fix). Everything I have tried to make using Thor has the same digital sound to it.

(this is where I get 10 people say 'that's easy':)

sorry thought u were mostly on about sub bass not midrange anyway. I dunno how u can exactly replicate that sound in thor, it would take some experimenting. Theres certainly some chorus and reverb on it which probably makes the sound a bit fatter. I can also definitely detect a formant filter in there somewhere but its pretty subtle. It seems like maybe a sawtooth or triangle playing at 2nd octave with some FM from maybe a sawtooth or or sine playing at 5th or 6th octave. I think i might even be detecting FM regulation by mod envelope.
I would agree on the chorus and reverb but I don't think it has any FM or sawtooth.
I recon its prob just a preset called 'bass' on some oldskool hardware tbh with some simple filter changes.
Trying to get that kinda sound tho I find tricky in Reason.
