Post by compulsivethinker » Fri Nov 28, 2008 1:09 am

OR INFACT I WAS SO INTOXICATED THAT I WAS ACTUALLY IN SOME KIND OF ALCOHOL/SPEED PILL ENDUCED PSYCHOSIS AND MADE ALL OF THIS UP IN MY SLIGHTLY SUNBURNT HEAD?

if they'd thrown every person who had an argument with that barman into the sea, there would've been more bodies than urchins in there....

what a prick....i got the feeling that all the staff there, when they heard 'british', were prepared for like some intense stereotypically british crowd (i'm sure you all know what i mean). no excuse for stealing people's money...

i know what you mean. from an organiser's point of view there was very little communication between us lot and the bar staff - even the site owners seemed pissed off when they jacked the prices up. guess croatia's just worlds away from the UK...plus they had a festival there every week last summer so no wonder they were on a short fuse!

Yeah, being the last (and loudest) festival probably didn't help.

Could literally feel the whole town vibe change after most people left. Felt this collective sigh of relief, all the restaurant staff were much friendlier.

Doesn't answer the Mash Up question though, but I think I may have heard that too at some point, although that could just be you putting the idea into my head.
