Deviate Christmas Special @ Scala

To get you through the darkest winter month Deviate are throwing a massive Christmas dance featuring a selection of the biggest artists from the UK Reggae and Dubstep scenes.

In the main hall the mighty Iration Steppas will be kicking off the proceedings with there chest rattling sound system, followed by an exclusive live PA from roots/dubstep singer Brother Culture, followed by arguably two of the biggest names in dubstep, Caspa and Rusko.

As if this wasn't enough, 9-pieace brass band Brassroots will be taking to the stage belting out the smoothest sounding classic roots reggae covers alongside DJ Moodie & Seanie T.

Room 2 sees reggae/world connoisseurs Soul Jazz Records alongside Extra Stout Sound warming things up nicely before Exel & Sandman bring a slightly more electronic edge in preparation for queen of the bass, Radio 1's vixen Mary Anne Hobbs.

Room 3 is dedicated to Deviate residents with an emphasis on the eclectic. Expect everything from minimal house, drum&bass, dub, 2-step to techno.

This night truly represents every aspect of the UK roots reggae & dubstep scenes, featuring some of the most cutting edge and exciting artists alongside original pioneers in British bass culture. All of this takes place in one of London's best music venues in the heart of the city.
