Sgt Pokes is big in the game, and Flowdan sounds waaaaay better on dubstep than he ever did on grime (actually, when Roll Deep were first blowing up I did used to rate him, 'Big Mic Man' was a nasty tune). Oh yeah, G Double's heavy as well, Rod Azlan always keeps raves bubbling nicely & Virus Syndicate have got a wicked vibe, falls somewhere in between dubstep & grime (which suits me fine)

BUT

I'm gonna be biased and big up my Bristol crew: C-Strike-Z, Jakes, Shadz, Buggsy & Scarz are all doing it

I would love to hear Trim over dubstep. He's soooo far ahead of anyone in grime, has propa memorable phrases. Maybe he's 2 much of a big personality for dubstep but if ppl are talkin bout mc'in not hostin: Trim's ur man.
If its a host we're on about its monsieur pokes hands down. He makes u feel guilty for not skankin

Crazy D, Purple, G Double and the SLT MC's. I do like the Virus MC's as well but never get to hear them.

best host imo, but as for mc...

well thats done to how u define an mc. i dont think Sgt Pokes is an MC but more of a host. i think Crazy D is sumwer in between the 2 which is what works best with dubstep. a few lyrics, some one liners and a whole load of beats and bass...so ye crazy d is the best "mc" cos he knows the task spot on nail on the head...

BUT who i reckon would be the BEST mc on dubstep if he mc'd at more dubstep raves would be D Double E. i remember him at WhyNot? at ministry...

came on with the old school bars and hooks, did a 16 or 2 and then let the beat go. was PERFECT.
