Always. I even wear them on the freeway (I drive for a living, and a truck passing you shifting can be up to 100dB)

The ER 9s with 15 db filters in. Im gonna get some 25s as well when ive got a bit of spare cash but the 15s are great for playin in.

a drunk chica pulled one out of my ear at dmz one time as I was walking away from the bar, cos they're on a bit of string and she couldn't resist. but, yeah, the er-20s I've got are on a bit of string, like what mummy used to tie your gloves to, so losing one is that bit trickier.

er15's or the cheapo hearos that are essentially er12s FTW. besides cutting down on volume and making the next day that much more bearable (and, you know, hearing things when yr in yr 50s), they make it a lot eaiser to have a conversation. I wind up not screaming as much.

Ear plugs are a must. You might not think it's fucking your ears at the time but trust me man when your ears are fucked a few years down the line you'll wish you had bought some

TBH most of the systems in Pitt are pretty weak. Plus I usually sit in the back and stroke the beard. No real need to put the plugs in. I wear these at work tho...

Looking to get the ones with the aux input soon so I can jam some dub at work

i tried earplugs at love once. didnt work out so well. i felt very disconnected from everything and couldnt talk with them in. also i kept hearing weird bubble popping noises with them in.

I'll of course bring them if I remember and I know the sound is gonna be loud. If I forget, I use tissue, but for the most part if it's heavy bass a'gwan (*dubstep certified*), ear plugs spend half the night in my pocket!!

I used to think they were shit and you cant hear the music, and then I sort of lost my hearing

I have to ask people to repeat themselves, or just nod and smile and pretend I heard what they say

I still aint got any real ear plugs, I just use my noise cancelling earphones and they seem to do the trick. Nuff people ask me if I'm listening to my own music though

I bought a pair of those moulded ear plugs a couple of months back.

hands down the best 120quid ive spent in my life. if you think you wont go deaf from going out, basically your an idiot. As some one already pointed out, its not so much how loud it is, its how long your exposed to it.
