i know everybody can have their own opinion but if this is as big as dubstep is gettin, then good luck for the future. we'll soon have a pendulum-style-dubstep-mainstream.
i know i posted on how wack that remix is, but i still can't get over it. rusko is a dope dope producer but almost every tune i've heard from the last half year or more was pretty much the same style, meaning, generic floor filler shit. noooo deepness whatsoever, just smack you in the face i'm drunk and loving it music. and of course, it does what is promises, the dancefloor goes wild.
BUT, judging by full dancefloors i guess we should all agree apon that dj tiesto is the real big badman or what?

I can see how some people like this remix because of its mainstream approachability but WHO CARES, its a terrible remix.
I agree i would like more people to know about dubstep, but ultimately the music is more important. I could care less if dubstep gets more popular basically because im happy with the way it is right now because its amazing music, popular or not.
cheesy chapstick
the song came straight off a Kraft assembly line, not rusko's

Ok i don't particularly like it, it has a pretty good drop though. Rusko played this tune at Concorde 2 in Brighton last time i saw him, the crowd went fucking mental, although it has to be said the clientle was VERY different to what it was this time last year. I dont wanna sound elitist at all because i'm not, merely pointing out that it was a more mainstream crowd, girls in high heels n' stuff like that, who obviously enjoyed the remix of Miss Perry's pop hit. . . .. It was rewinded like twice initially, then the track was dropped agin later on in his set, at the time i was like 'woah this is fucking rad' probably cos the concorde has a dope sound system and i was fucked.
do you think maybe Rusko is subversively mocking pop music though?
Taking a tune like this and arranging it in a way so it appeals to a new crowd is something that clever producers have done for a long time.
I'm undecided but i understand that people want to preserve dubstep for what it is, and i agree. I would HATE the idea of being on a bus and overhearing a rusko tune being through the tinny speakers of a mobile phone wielded by some tit who has no idea about dubstep and where it comes from because it was in the top 20, there i sound like a twat now but you know what i mean.
