Getting evicted in 3 months (flat actually being demolished) and I need suggestions for somewhere faily cheap to live but which is also not a complete shithole.
Currently in SW London near Kingston which is alright but moved out here for a job I no longer have and fancy moving a bit more central.
Anyone got any advise?

Hackney is cool if you don't mind bussing it everywhere.
Shoreditch/Hoxton is alright but I don't see why everyone goes on about it. Unless you are the type that likes hanging around local bars in skinny jeans.
Somewhere like Bermondsy, Camberwell maybe? Much closer than you are now.
I quite like Leyton. Central line is like 15 minutes straight into Liverpool Street (where I work) and quite a few motorway links so 30 minutes to Stansted. The area is actually shit with fuck all to do but still not like it's long to get anywhere.

finsbury park.
Sick food shops, easy to get to most places you'd want to get to, right next to the tube.

Hackney's cool, fuck Shoreditch/Hoxton though. Stokey's nice, but no Tube.
We live in Oxford Circus. It's really handy for getting places, but not exactly much atmosphere.

Yeah Ealings alright. They got a couple of funky nights too. Not great if youwant to go out or even go out in central because night travel is long (as is any where in london).
A nice are with strong Polish roots none the less.
